Next week is the spring break for our schools. This is not true for every county, the breaks seems to be staggered throughout the month of March. Of curse, we are accustomed to having spring break start the week before Easter, but since Easter is so very late this year, they can’t wait that long for the break. So ours is starting this Friday with just a half day of school and then all of next week the kids are off!
I’m always checking around to make sure I have the web host I really need and now I have found a new site to check. I didn’t realize there were so many sites that help you know who to choose but this one is for mac web hosting. How about that? I never really thought about needing a different host if you run on a Mac but thank goodness someone else knew it.
My computer at home is a laptop but the computer I work on at work is a Mac. I love it too and am even considering getting a notebook for home too. It amazes me just what you can find online, that is if you know where to look or keep looking until you find what you need. They’ll even help you find out if a domain is available or not. I have seen lots of times when I have had to stretch a dollar into ten dollars. Those times were back when I was in college and not lately thank goodness. I really wish I could have known about this service back then. Everyone has needed emergency loans from time to time and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that has ever needed one either.
Let’s say you run over something and end up with two flat tires. Tires are not cheap either. That’s not something you have in your budget so you have to figure out how to stretch your money. That’s when that type of loan comes in awfully handy. I woke up with a stomach ache that ended up being appendicitis and even though I had medical insurance, there was this rather large co-pay I had to pay. That money isn’t just found under a money tree as my G-Daddy always says.
You can get an elastic line of credit so that if and when the need arises, you have the funds to cover what ever emergency expenditure you should happen to run into. I think this is a great way to stretch your money and hope and pray that you don’t have to use it that often too. But there is comfort in knowing it’s there.

More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can’t wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that’s not only better, but also more directly involves me.
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong.
Have you ever been walking down the street and realized that you’re going in the complete opposite direction of where you are supposed to be going? But instead of just turning a 180 and walking back in the direction from which you came, you have to first do something like check your watch or phone or make a grand arm gesture and mutter to yourself to ensure that no one in the surrounding area thinks you’re crazy by randomly switching directions on the sidewalk.
I totally take back all those times I didn’t want to nap when I was younger.
I am so going to miss Teresa. But I know she has to go where she can get a job and this is a great opportunity for her but now I need another laugh. So here goes:
My wife and I were sitting at a table at her high school reunion, and she kept staring at a drunken man swigging his drink as he sat alone at a nearby table.
I asked her , ‘Do you know him?’ ‘Yes,’ she sighed, ‘ He’s my old boyfriend. I understand he took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear he hasn’t been sober since.’
‘My God!’ I said, ‘who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?’
And then the fight started….
Yeah IF I had a husband and he said something like that, there would definitely be a fight between us.
