The grocery store had bottled coke products on sale, so I stocked up today. I had to buy 4 cases of soda, so I decided to try the new flavor, Cherry Sprite. It was a bargain at 4 cases for $10, so I went for it. Even if I don’t like it, which I’m pretty sure I will, I can always give it to the kids to drink as a treat.
Maybe my grandparents are going through a life crisis or something like that. I can’t explain it. First of all my grandmother wants a wine rack and racks for her glasses too and now she’s trying to find Rogar for sale. Have you ever seen any Rogar corkscrews? They are like a piece of fine silverware or a sculpture even. I’m telling you, they are beautiful. My grandmother wants a Rogar estate wine opener.
She’s very picky about things and only Rogar wine openers will do. I told her where she could get estate wine openers but she didn’t want them unless they were Rogar. I wonder if she would want a champagne wine opener? If she does, that would make a nice birthday present for her. Either that or maybe a good stocking stuffer for Christmas. You know, that’s not a bad idea now is it? I’ll have to check and see.
Now that I think about it, it really has been awhile since I had a date. I’m not complaining by any means. I like my life and just don’t feel the need to have a guy around all of the time. At least not now anyway.
I go out with my friends, both male and female but we all just have fun together, no dating between us or anything like that. I like it that way. Who knows, maybe the good Lord will bring me the man of my dreams to my front door. Stranger things have happened.
My grandmother loves some of the things I have done to my kitchen and was asking me about where she could get some of the same type of items. She was looking for wine glass racks so I told her and last weekend I went to her house and she had a wine glass rack in her kitchen. I didn’t know they liked wine. Goes to show that kids don’t know everything huh?
Well I’m not a kid anymore and now I’m learning the truth. Then I was shocked to find out that she was also looking at bar glass racks. Bar glasses? I felt like Dorothy after the tornado in ‘The Wizard of Oz’. My sweet grandmother that made cookies for me was looking for glass racks and bar glasses at that? She loves to watch the cooking shows and sees all of this type of stuff in their kitchens and that’s what I’m putting it on. My grandparents don’t drink and I’m sticking to my story!!
My house and deck, not to mention my yard is full of flowers and plants. Because of that, I have nice indoor planters, outdoor planters, and even a few high end planters for my living room. Nothing makes a beautiful plant look better than a nice planter. I’m not just going to spend my hard earned money on a plant and leave it in the ugly planter it came in, you know.
On my deck, I found the most perfect garden planters and even planted some tomatoes and squash in them. Now when I need a tomato or in the mood for squash, I simply step out on my deck and there they are. Pretty good idea, don’t you think? My kitchen window looks out on my deck so I got a window box planter for there too. Any type of decorative planter adds so much to your whole decor, inside and out and I bet your plants feel prettier too.
