The kids are ecstatic over the warming of the weather. They have been outside every day after school playing, running, and very loud. I have to just chuckle at their excitement. You would think they had been prisoners for years if you could see them. They have elicited from me a promise to go anywhere outdoors this weekend. They want to go biking or something like that. I told them I would, so long as the weather permitted. I didn’t dampen their enthusiasm by telling them it is forecasted to rain all weekend. They will find out soon enough, and I will take them biking as soon as humanly possible. Catcha later gators.

More Wedding favors have arrived to be stored away until the big day. Well, actually they will be pulled out later for our little party when we put all of the bags together and such. My daughter and her friends are really looking forward to that party. To be honest, so am I and the bride as well. When we were kids we used to play at stuff like this and now that it is here, we have no problem allowing the girls to enjoy it as well. We have a few surprises planned for them that they are unaware of. I can’t wait to see the looks on their faces when they see what we have done.

We are going to have so many Wedding favor bags to put together if everyone RSVP’s. There were over three hundred people invited. Putting together three hundred favor bags is going to take quite some time. I might have to get the kids to help us. Or maybe, I can get my daughter to have a slumber party and her and her friends can help do it. We can have a bridal slumber party since my daughter is going to be the Jr. Bridesmaid.
Her friends will get a real kick out of that and they can have a sort of bridal shower/ bachelorette party for the bride. I think I will call her and see if she would be up for that. I know that my daughter will love it. I will have to send the boys to my moms for the night. That way it will be a girls night only.

I have developed a fascination with these wedding favors. Some of them are just too cute. The others are so funny and make you giggle something fierce. My daughter and I were looking at them together last night and she started making a list already of what she likes for one day when she gets married. It was so cute, but at least I already have an idea of what she will want one day. Of course her tastes will change by then as so many women’s do. It is the natural course of things after all. I am really looking forward to helping her plan her wedding when she grows up.

Angry Birds
Okay, not really but they look like they are fighting. They are beautiful though. I have a few bird feeders and a bird bath in my garden. The kids like the hummingbirds the best, but I love the colorful birds like these that come into my yard.
