Even though Halloween isn’t even here yet, I have already been thinking about what to get who for Christmas.  I always try to have my shopping done by Thanksgiving but it’s not always possible.  This year it will be a lot easier with the great deals I have found online.  My best friend sells at a flea market and she turned me on to wholesale belt buckles since I have a lot of friends that ride Harley’s or horses.   Buying belt buckles wholesale will help me out a lot with a small gift for them.

She buys a lot of wholesale jewelry and does quite well with it too.  Most any time is a good time for her with jewelry but especially around the holidays like Christmas, Valentines, Mothers Day or any other day when someone wants to give jewelry as a gift.  They have great prices that allow her to make a decent profit too.

Oh I forgot the biggest sellers this summer was those shutter shades.  She also got wholesale shutter shades too.  It’s nice to have a friend like her because she lets me get whatever I want or need at the same price she pays for the items.  Saves me a bundle on all of the gifts I get from her and I always throw in a little for her since she does help save me so much money.

I’m always checking around to make sure I have the web host I really need and now I have found a new site to check.  I didn’t realize there were so many sites that help you know who to choose but this one is for mac web hosting. How about that? I never really thought about needing a different host if you run on a Mac but thank goodness someone else knew it.

My computer at home is a laptop but the computer I work on at work is a Mac.  I love it too and am even considering getting a notebook for home too.  It amazes me just what you can find online, that is if you know where to look or keep looking until you find what you need.  They’ll even help you find out if a domain is available or not. My grandparents decided to go on a trip to San Francisco since they had never been there before.  I thought it was a great idea until their darn car broke down.  Of all the things to happen on vacation.  Well they started searching for San Francisco Auto Repair on the computer and as luck would have it, they found a great shop that didn’t take advantage of the fact that they were from out of town.

They had decided to drive their Honda Accord to help save money instead of taking their more expensive Volvo.  I’m glad they did take the Honda now since the timing belt jumped while they were there.  I can just imagine how much it would have cost on the Volvo.  They have timing belts too, right?  Well anyway, after they repairs and the car rental they had to have, they could have flown and saved money but who knew?

Since I have been doing some home improvements, I had my brother look up in the attic and see how well this house is insulated.  Now I know why my power bills are so darn high.  There’s little or none insulation up there.  It’s turning cool quick so I really need to insulate the attic to save on my winter heating bills.

Attic Insulation is one of the best ways to lower your power bills all year around and not just in the winter.  Have you ever heard of EcoFoil Reflective Foil Insulation? It really increases your R rating and energy efficiency in your home. Best of all is it’s inexpensive and easy to install and is not harmful to your skin or your lungs. I’m going to install it in my attic and crawl space.  I found out about it from my grandparents.  They had it installed and was amazed at how inexpensive it was and how quickly it was shipped to them.

Have you ever gotten this email about the ‘Husband Store’?  Well my mother just sent it to me and I honestly think she’s trying to tell me something.  What do you think?

A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:

You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 – These men Have Jobs

She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:

Floor 2 – These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.

‘That’s nice,’ she thinks, ‘but I want more..’So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 – These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.

‘Wow,’ she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 4 – These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.

‘Oh, mercy me!’ she exclaims, ‘I can hardly stand it!’  Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 5 – These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.  She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:

Floor 6 – You are visitor 31,456,012to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
