The Federal Government has promised more money to the citizens in the form of tax credits for appliances that have an energy star rating. The Feds left the details up to each state, so I am trying to find out what my state is going to do. I sure would like to buy a new refrigerator, and if I can get a rebate or tax credit for that, it would help me out a LOT!
Even though Halloween isn’t even here yet, I have already been thinking about what to get who for Christmas. I always try to have my shopping done by Thanksgiving but it’s not always possible. This year it will be a lot easier with the great deals I have found online. My best friend sells at a flea market and she turned me on to wholesale belt buckles since I have a lot of friends that ride Harley’s or horses. Buying belt buckles wholesale will help me out a lot with a small gift for them.
She buys a lot of wholesale jewelry and does quite well with it too. Most any time is a good time for her with jewelry but especially around the holidays like Christmas, Valentines, Mothers Day or any other day when someone wants to give jewelry as a gift. They have great prices that allow her to make a decent profit too.
Oh I forgot the biggest sellers this summer was those shutter shades. She also got wholesale shutter shades too. It’s nice to have a friend like her because she lets me get whatever I want or need at the same price she pays for the items. Saves me a bundle on all of the gifts I get from her and I always throw in a little for her since she does help save me so much money.
My grandparents decided to go on a trip to San Francisco since they had never been there before. I thought it was a great idea until their darn car broke down. Of all the things to happen on vacation. Well they started searching for San Francisco Auto Repair on the computer and as luck would have it, they found a great shop that didn’t take advantage of the fact that they were from out of town.
They had decided to drive their Honda Accord to help save money instead of taking their more expensive Volvo. I’m glad they did take the Honda now since the timing belt jumped while they were there. I can just imagine how much it would have cost on the Volvo. They have timing belts too, right? Well anyway, after they repairs and the car rental they had to have, they could have flown and saved money but who knew?
As a single mother, my mother was very tight with her money. She had to be. She was always finding deals any way she could. Well it’s a lot easier now with the Internet than it was way back then. She taught me to be tight with my money too and that’s how I found out about Amazon discount coupons.
In fact, I buy just about everything online to help save even more money in gas and everything else it costs to go shopping. I also found great deals with ShoppersChoice discount coupons. I’m teaching my mother now how to save even more money. Pretty darn neat if you ask me.
With the stock market up one day then down the next, it has a lot of people leery of investing. I can’t say as I blame them one bit either. But what about gold? It holds it’s value rather well so I decided to check into how to buy gold. Sure we all have seen where you can buy gold coins on TV but are you really buying what you think you are buying? Sometimes when you buy gold coin from TV, it’s only gold plated and not pure gold like you think.
Now just what is gold bullion? I had no idea until I did a little research and found out where to buy gold bullion but I’m still not to sure what the difference is. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think gold bullion is 24 carat gold while the other is maybe a little less gold content. I don’t know but gold seems to be a pretty good way to go.
