With the advent of the spring storms that always come, I am getting prepared ahead of time. I already have all of the information I need in case something happens to the house. I found home repair grants to cover what the home owners insurance doesn’t. There are different programs available and all you have to do is find the ones in your area. We get really bad storms in our area, with high speed straight line winds as well as tornadoes, so it is always best to prepare for it before they come.
The home energy team can help with all kinds of stuff. If your electric bill is too high, they will do an energy audit to see where you are losing energy at. I have mine done every year. Usually right before winter kicks in, but it doesn’t hurt to do it before summer gets here either. You can also find energy saving solutions online to help with that as well. There are a lot of little tricks to use that will bring that bill down a bit.

My son wants a drum machine to use while he is playing his guitar. I am not sure about it yet though as they are quite pricey. The drum machine guitar center has is not that bad though considering. I have been researching them for a few days now and they have some pretty good deals. I am pretty sure that we will buy one from there. I hope he gets a lot of use out of it, because as I said before, they are expensive.

I did all the laundry over the weekend, but was lazy and didn’t fold it. I have to get that done today, but I will have some help since my honey is home from work today early. They got an extra half a day off with pay, because they finally finished up their big account. His boss is extremely happy with the team over this account. Since my honey was team leader, he got a really big bonus as well. It is partly the reason why he was selected to go on the trip to Japan. It is a learning trip about a new technique for building. As a structural engineer, my honey gets first knowledge of this because they chose him to go. We have really happy about this trip. I can’t wait to go either. It is going to be so much fun especially since his boss found out I was going to pay for my own ticket and go with him, now he is footing the bill entirely and adding a few days for recreation as well. He has listed me as my honeys assistant, and I will go with him and take notes. Even better for me! My pay is the free trip. I am loving it!

I found some new deals on social media packages. Working online gives me a little bit of a heads up on certain deals and such that most people won’t find otherwise. I have been doing this for a few years and you can never tell when something really good will pop up. Today I found something for the techies and business owners that could really come in handy. I have used a few of these kinds of services in the past and they were very helpful to me, especially when I set up web pages for businesses.

The days of snail mail are virtually gone and it is much more efficient to market your business via email and social media. My son recently got a gift from my father. It is my dads coin collection. They have poured over it time and time again, as well as the internet, looking for new coins to add to it. They found some silver eagle coins to add to it right before Christmas. Now my father has given it to him to keep here. They will still look for the coins together, but now my son has the responsibility of looking after it.
