We had a absolute blast last weekend but man am I out of shape. Would you believe that I’m still sore? I can’t believe it. I thought for sure that by now I would be over that but NO!!!!! My legs and rear are still aching like I ran a marathon or something. I learned one thing for sure from last weekend. I need to get off of my rear and exercise if nothing but at least walking up and down the stairs instead of taking the elevator to the second floor where my office is.
Some friends and I are going water skiing this weekend. I haven’t water skied in years. I used to go all the time with G Daddy and MeMaw. That was a long time ago and I bet I’ll be super sore the next day but you know what, I don’t care. It’s good to get some of those old muscles working again. It helps you know you’re still alive, out of shape maybe but still alive and having fun.

Have you seen the new Pepsi and Mountain Dew in the stores? It is the “throwback” version of their sodas. Instead of using the high fructose corn syrup as a sweetener, they are using real sugar. It does taste better than the new stuff they have been making.
I just realized that is has been ages since I bought a book and actually read a whole book. Things got hectic and I just never bothered to buy a book or read much of anything except emails and blog posts! But today I noticed a book at the grocery store and on impulse I picked it up. I started reading it last night and I like it – I miss my reading.
