I do believe I will make a stew for dinner tonight.I will put it all in the crock pot and let it go for a few hours on it’s own. I came up with a new recipe the last time I made it that was really good.
- 2 lbs of stew meat
- tsp paprika
- tsp garlic
- 2 Knorr beef stock
- half an onion
- five potatos (peeled and cut into bite size pieces)
- small bag of baby carrots
- A1 steak sauce
- 1/2 cup of flour
Take the stew meat and cut it down into bite size pieces and place in pot. Add paprika, garlic, salt and pepper to taste as well as the flour and mix up so meat is fully coated. Chop onion into small bits and add to mixture with potatoes and half to 3/4 of the bag of carrots. (however much you like). Pour a couple of tsp of A1 steak sauce onto the top and add about four cups of water, so it covers the entire thing. Set temperature according to how long you plan on it cooking. If you start it in the morning, low is fine.
It will thicken on it’s own and will be totally delicious.
