My little guy had a nasty fever last night for no apparent reason. I was beside myself with worry, because it just came out of nowhere and this morning it is seemingly gone. He is fine and I am tired from very little sleep last night. I had to check on him about every hour. I hope it is gone for good, but I sincerely doubt it.

Thursday, April 5th, 2012Oh this year the ticks are going to be really bad. We had such a mild winter that the ground never really froze and therefore didn’t kill off the ticks as it normally would. I have already picked eleven ticks off of one child in a day. That is bad. Now he has a fever and I am praying that he doesn’t get one of the tick sicknesses. I am taking him to the doctors office tomorrow to see what is up with him. He has a mild rash on his face, but that could be poison oak or ivy. I will know more tomorrow.
