After hiring a private accountant to do our taxes for this year, she asked to look at last years returns. She immediately found discrepancies and said that she could amend it and we would get more back for last year. This of course made us very happy and immediately agreed to it. I cannot wait for both checks to come in. We have made a lot of plans for different things, but the most important is my new vehicle. I am getting a new truck. Well, it is used but it is new to me, so I am happy with the entire arrangement.

Thursday, February 16th, 2012I hate waiting on the tax check to get here. We always have our plans already made for what we want to use the money for and it takes so long for the IRS to get the crap done. I hope the new system they are using get all the bugs out by next year so we don’t have to wait more than three days. That is what they said it is supposed to do to make things go much faster. This year, however, is bunk because they are using it for the first time and it has a lot of bugs. grrrrrr
